Also, in Oliver Twist, an example of man vs. self would be that Oliver has to over come his feelings of being an orphan and not having a mother or father. This is crucial to the story because if Oliver's parents were still alive he would have a completely different life. He would not have become an orphan either.
Finally, an example of man vs. man would be Oliver being blamed for things that he didn't do because of his appearance. When you dress and look poor you are automatically accused as a thief or a beggar and Oliver tends to get in trouble for things he doesn't do.
Nice pictures to go along with the post. However, be sure to pay attention to what I expect in class: the first paragraph was simply to introduce what conflict is in general.
